Sweetthots Enterprise ... the cause to my silence ;)


Mmm ... setelah sekian lama, I guess it's time to reveal  ... kot ada yg bertanya kenapa dah lama saya menyepi, ada ke ye? Ada kawan-kawan yg dah tau & dah sampai pon ;)  Fiza, Khairil, Izah Muffin Lover (xsempat akak nak offer air sbb nampaknya izah nak cepat, akak pon terkejut sbb pertama kali bersua muka) ... terima kasih, kedatangan u all tu sedikit sebanyak meniup semangat.

Kawan-kawan yg lain kalau sesat di Bandar Baru Ampang, sudi-sudikan lah singgah ye ...

Dan sebab ini juga lah, sudah agak lama saya x bereksplorasi dgn resepi2 baru  ... saya rindu mixer, oven, periuk, kuali, pinggan & segala peralatan memasak saya ... huhu ...

Dulce De Leche: the making ...


My Dulce in the making ...1 tin susu isian pekat manis/sweetened condense filled milk, x perlu tebuk ye. Rebus >< 3 jam dlm periuk. Berdebar-debar sebenarnya nak buat hari tu, takuttt ... tetiba meletop ke hapa tin tu. In between tu jenguk2 gak takut air kering. Masa ni tetiba rasa bergunanya ada pressure cooker kan Chik Mi ;) Hari ni I ternampak 1 lg cara nak prepare dulce, yg dikongsi oleh Liza. Sesuai la utk yg xde pressure cooker mcm I. Jimat masa, dlm sejam je kot dah siap. Cara-cara lain nak prepare dulce ni boleh lihat di blog Wendy.

By the way, macam ni ye cara nak pronounce, Dool-say De Leshay.

** Note
Pastikan beli susu yg betul ...kalau susu krimer tu feedback dr mereka yg dah mencuba >> bila dah masak, dulce nya cair dan tak pekat macam yg guna susu pekat manis ni...

♥ Lemon Curd


Inspired by Mrs Onn, after she posted the pic at her fb photos collection. Komen dia buat I teruja, tau. Kebetulan lemon ada dlm fridge, punya la lama x berusik2... kes tamak ler ni, tgk harganya murah hari tu. Terus la I google resepi & follow the Video Jug way of making Lemon Curd ...

Sorry ... tgh malas nak translate ni. Copy bulat2 jer dr Video Jug

Lemon Curd
Step 1: Ingredients
  • the zest and juice of 4 large lemons
  • 4 eggs
  • 320 g caster sugar
  • 220 g butter
  • 1 level dessert spoon of corn flour
  • 1 medium saucepan
  • 1 large whisk
  • 1 sterilized jar
  • Serves:
  • makes 800 g
  • Preparation Time:
  • 20 minutes
  • Cooking Time:
  • 20 minutes
  1. Step 2: Whisk the eggs

    Pour the eggs into a saucepan and lightly whisk.
  2. Step 3: Add remaining ingredients

    Whisk in the sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, butter and corn flour.
  3. Step 4: Make the lemon curd

    Place the pan on a medium heat and whisk continuously for 7-9 minutes until all the ingredients melt and eventually thicken. Once thickened lower the heat, whisk for one more minute and remove from the heat.
  4. Step 5: Store

    Carefully pour the lemon curd into a sterilized jar and leave to cool. Store in a cool, dry place. It will keep for 2-4 weeks.
