Cookies N Cream Cheesecake



Dah lama teragak nak makan cheesecake. Hmm... lama betul i x buat. Masa browsing blog makcik kantin (cute kan, macam nama tukang masak ninja boy ), nampak cheesecake yg dia buat non-baked. Walla! Apa lagi, laju je la i buat. Memang worth trying & definitely a keeper Tak caya, sila la cuba ye.

COOKIES 'n' CREAM CHEESECAKE

Base
100 gm butter, diced
170 gm digestive biscuits, crushed
30 gm brown sugar
30 gm cocoa powder, sifted
50 gm cornflakes, crushed
40 gm almond flakes

- Heat butter in pan and add all the other ingredients.
- Fry till fragrant and press in 23 cm false bottom cake pan
- Cover cake pan & refrigerate for at least 30 minutes

Notes: In replacement to the dry ingredients, you can use leftover biscuits (samperit, almond, cornflakes etc), crushed and kept frozen.

Filling:
500 ml thickened cream (i used whipped cream)
80 gm icing sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 Tbsp gelatine powder dissolved in 80 ml water
250 gm mascarpone cheese ( I use normal cream cheese)
100 gm Chocolate sandwich cookies, quartered

- Whisk thicken cream, icing sugar and vanilla until mixture thickens
- Pour gelatine, mix well and add mascarpone cheese.
- Stir in cookies using spatula.

Pour filling onto biscuit base. Cover and refrigerate, possibly overnight.

Singgang Daging


Ni la menu kami hujung minggu baru-baru ni. Since haziq ada mentioned nak makan sup tulang (anak i nih, sama cam mummy... bhgn yg berdaging x suka sgt, suka sangaaaatt... part yg ada tulang) & i pun dah lama tak makan singgang, i pun buat la singgang daging, kurang sket kolestrol, kan
Resepinya so simple tapi sedap you! 

SINGGANG DAGING

1 kg Tulang
2-3 ulas bawang putih - dihiris
1 labu bawang besar - dihiris (boleh letak lebih, jika suka)
1 inci halia - ni pun pandai-pandai lah, sama je macam masak sup daging
1 - 11/2 inci lengkuas
Sedikit asam keping
Sedikit biji ketumbar
Sedikit lada hitam - ditumbuk kasar

Masuk semua bahan-bahan & masak hingga empuk. Sesuaikan rasa, rasa singgang ini seakan-akan sup yang diperah asam limau. Isyy... tak reti la nak cerita, nak tau... kena la buat ye  


Malamnya pulak, selongkar peti sejuk jumpa jagung yg dah lama beli tak ingat asalnya nak buat apa. Apa lagi ... kukus jagung, campur susu pekat manis & sikit susu cair ... walla dah siap, terus layan makan jagung manis depan tv.  

Teh 3 Layer / Three Layered Tea


Here comes my 3 layered tea. Dah lama tingin nak buat sendiri, asyik dok minum kat kedai jer. Siap pi tanya adik yg buat air kat food court Maju Junction tu, gula apa dia guna. Adik tu jawab "Mahal kak gula ni, import dr Sarawak. 1 liter RM40. Baik akak minum je kat sini."

As usual, naluri nak cuba buat sendiri tu membuak-buak. Lucky me bila my office mate Hasnor bagi nise ( I assumed it's a Kelantanese word for nisan) and dia ada bagi tau dia guna gula ni in making this drink. Excited la i mendengarnya kannn ... Memang sedap, tambahan ... nise yg dia bagi tu sedap sgt and ori.

TEH 3 LAYER
Resepi: ain sweetthots

Air teh yang pekat
Sirap gula melaka/nise
Susu cair
Ketulan ais

Mula-mula tuang sirap gula melaka 1/6 bhgn tinggi gelas. Masukkan ketulan ais dan tuang susu cair dlm 3/6 bhgn gelas tersebut. Akhir sekali tuang teh pekat. Siap. Kacau dulu sebelum minum.


Soft Pandan Marble Cake ... lembut dan sedap sangat

Yeayy ... Seronoknya ... akhirnya jumpa resepi butter cake yang lembut sangat tanpa perlu guna ovalette. Alhamdulillah. Thanks Mamafa...
