It was friday and dearest hubby's birthday. Tu ... my gift to him ... it was actually a hint of apa yg i nak for my birthday pulak .. i cakap kat dia .. hehe .. gabra jap pakcik tu nak buka.

I baked this using the recipe here (my 2nd attempt baking this dessert .. haha .. tad too long for a second try kan .. still didn't meet my expectation lah .. and this time i think i know why ... so gonna give another try very soon) My initial plan to bake him a cake was cancelled due to time constraint .. So we had this, satay and my sis has been so kind to cook her signature Mee goreng for the birthday treat that day. 

Loads and loads of fruits .. putting everything that i have in the fridge ...
and yup, that's the best thing about baking this dessert at home ...
** guess what .. my auntie panggil benda alah ni Nealova ... dgn alasan berbelit2 lidah dia nak sebut cik pavlova ni ..


My favourite gerai kuih @ Port Dickson

(Lain kali pergi, kita check balik address dia)
Kalau gi PD, memang x sah kalau x gi kedai mak cik ni. Mmm ... i dah try most of the kuih, ada beberapa yg biasa-biasa je rasanya tapi kebanyakannya memang sedap-sedap. What i like most pasal gerai makcik ni sbb pilihan kuih muih nya yg pelbagai. Siap ada bihun goreng, mee goreng and sometimes rojak yg dah dipek dlm bekas plastik taufufa. Cendol n dadih pon ada. Kadang-kadang kuih yg jarang jumpa kat gerai kuih pon ada macam talam labu, koci labu, lepat labu .. eh labu je ni ... hehe .. lagi talam keladi berlauk, nagasari dan macam-macam ada la. Memang lupa diri la ok kalau i singgah sini, kalau x control mmg habis la 20 hengget sekali belanja tu. Diet pon hancus. Yang dalam gambar ni baru sebhgn je tu .. hihi

Seafood Goreng Buttermilk

Hari tu .. di hari Jumaat beberapa bulan yg lepas ;) ada office mate tanya cemana nak masak udang buttermilk, maka I pon bagi la resepi main agak-agak je ikut selera tekak yg pernah sekali mencuba buttermilk prawn. Pastu I google for a few recipes nak confirmkan balik, kang naya lak dia buat x jadi .. sib baik betul cuma ada macam2 kaedah la yg org lain buat ... Bila dah bercerita pasal resepi tu, tekak terasa2 lak nak makan buttermilk prawn jugak .. lagi pun x pernah cuba buat sendiri kat rumah. Dalam fridge ada sotong 2-3 ekor, so kasi campur sekali la.
Here's my recipe to share, xde sukatan tepat ... agak-agak sesedap rasa la ye:
Seafood Goreng Buttermilk (Sumber: ain sweetthots)
Bahan-Bahan: Sotong/ udang Tepung ubi Sedikit garam Telur - xnak letak pon boleh
Buttermilk Gravy: 2 sudu butter susu cair sedikit air setangkai daun kari cili padi garam & sedikit gula pasir 1 - 2 keping cheddar cheese - optional
Cara-caranya Tos kering udang/sotong. Celup dlm telur yg dicampur sikit …

Dah lama tak ber'froyo' di Tutti Frutti (TF) ... dah x minat, sbb macam dah x menyengat. Dan sekarang cinta kami pada frozen yogurt dah beralih arah ke sini ...


Kat tekak kami yang ni lagi sedap, rasanya x sharp macam kat TF ... harganya pulak lebih mahal sket. Yang berbezanya kat sini bukan self-service, kita order kat cashier counter which type yg kita nak and dorang yg akan serve kan. We had 2 cups of Blueberry and Kiwi flavor, just plain without any toppings. Enjoy dengan deco kedai ni yg cozy jer ... ala-ala dekat animal farm ..

Maggi Ketam "Best in the world ;)" ...

Ni komen Hafiy la, bila dia hirup kuah Maggi Ketam yang I buat utk dinner 2 hari lepas (^_^). I pun cepat2 capai sudu ceduk kuahnya dan sua ke mulut. Err ... sedapnyaaa ... patut dia puji ... haha .. Eventhough ketam nipah yg I beli ni x fresh, beli pon kat Carrefour je; tapi bila dah masak manis isi dia masih terasa mesra bergaul dgn kuah maggi tu, syapalehh ... Tertunai la craving nak makan maggi ketam sejak sekian lama.
Tak de dlm perancangan asal pon nak masak Maggi Ketam nih. Dah lama dok berangan nak gi makan kat kedai, macam2 aralnya ... Kebetulan masa gi belikan ngaku yg adik pesan hari tu, lalu bhgn basah ternampak ketam ni. Sebab jarang jumpa, tetiba rasa nak beli. Dan dan tu gak terlintas dah nak masak Maggi Ketam sbb cik abang I pernah ckp, yg maggi ketam kat kedai masak guna ketam nipah.
I masak sempoi je .. sbb nak kekalkan keaslian rasa ketam dan maggi tu. Alhamdulillah menepati citarasa kami sgt2. So apa yg I buat, I just masak air sampai menggelegak. Then masukkan k…
