Yeay ... seronoknya, esok cuti bg yg bekerja kan. Anak-anak pun dah habis exam ni. Ada jemputan akikah & jemputan kahwin, x pasti lagi mana satu nak pergi ni. Tak sabar juga nak jumpa Alisya Hana anak cousin I Deeda. Esok kot dia mai KL sbb mama nya ada alumni party rasanya & abbuuuah nya tu mesti dtg nak tgk match bola tu. Oghang nogori la katakan ^__^.
Pavlova ni, dah lama sangat bertangguh nak buat, last weekend ntah cemana semangat berkobar-kobar lak. My first time baking this dessert, so ... serba comottsss. Sambutan? Ibarat semut menghurung gula ... hehe. Dapat bayangkan x ... bawa gi rumah my mom nak makan ramai2. Melayan kerenah the boys, xdan den nak bernapeh ... sorang nak buh buah ni, sorang xmo buah, yg sorang lagi nak grated choc lebih ... macam2. Utk pertama kali, ok la kot. Tapi manisnya ... ampunn ... mmg melekat2. Kena kurangkan lagi gula ni. Sebenarnya x puas hati sbb base tu melekat lak atas aluminium foil, dah tu I buat mini pavlova je ... jadi agak payah ler nak keluarkan. Last2 semua pakat makan dgn sudu je la. Nak kena cuba lagi ni. Deeda pon ada hint nak juga .. tgk la kalau sempat esok.
Anyway ... I buat 2 versi hari tu Fruits Pavlova & Banoffe Pavlova. Resepi dr Allrecipes.
Banoffee Pavlova

Ingredients
- 1 cup castor sugar or superfine sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch - lupa letak
- 1 pinch cream of tartar
- 4 egg whites
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 dash vanilla extract
-
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar- I ganti dgn cuka - 2 small bananas, sliced
- 1 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1 tablespoon grated semisweet chocolate, for garnish
- 2 cups sweetened whipped cream - malas, pakai instant whipped cream jer
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, and trace an 8 inch circle onto the surface.
- In a small cup or bowl, stir together the sugar, cornstarch, and cream of tartar. In a large glass or metal bowl, whip the egg whites with salt, vanilla, and vinegar until soft peaks form. Gradually sprinkle in the sugar mixture and continue to whip until stiff and shiny. Mound the mixture into the traced circle on the baking sheet. Flatten the top and smooth the sides using a metal spatula.
- Place in the preheated oven, and immediately reduce the heat to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until a pale golden brown. Turn off the oven, and leave the door slightly ajar with the pavlova inside until completely cooled.
- Just before serving time, invert the cooled pavlova onto a serving plate, and top with slices of banana. Cover banana with caramel sauce. Top that with whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
Note:
Utk Fruits pavlova, just letak whipped cream & fruits jer.
